No to Florida

Some time ago, Greg and I had this great idea to move to Florida. We didn't know how long his good health was going to last and we thought it best if we spend it someplace we would truly enjoy. When looking over the last year, we have decided otherwise.

Sure, Florida has hurricanes, but that isn't what bothers us. After research the state further, we found that there were too many high humidity days, some of the bugs there are larger than the roaches in NYC (and they leave their dropping and shells, etc), and then there is the chance of developing new allergies to plants and such only found in Florida. Yes, we know we can find problems with anywhere we would want to move but the climate in Florida would seem to create problems for his health - especially since he is a native Midwest guy!

Since Greg is doing so well and his lung functions are remaining in the mid 80's, we have decided to stay in the northern half of the country. Okay, so snow shoveling isn't fun but the snow sure is!

Wake the Dogs!

As I was wandering the Internet, I happened upon a blog that said to go to Yahoo!, turn up your speakers, and click on the exclamation point in the Yahoo! Logo.

Oh my! Both of our dogs jumped a mile into the sky and ran around the house barking up a storm. As I clutched my sides and wiped the tears streaming down my face from laughing so hard at them, I gave each a warm hug (while trying to hide back more laughter) and told them I am sorry. Well, I don't know how sorry I was because it was hysterical! Needless to say, the Lab Brats were not as amused! Before you think I am a mean woman, go and try it yourself!

This just goes to show that laughter in life can be found in most smallest of things! Everyday should contain laughter!
